If you know what’s good for you, you’ll join us at the Toronto Cold Reads this Sunday May 7th.

We will be taking a break on May 14th. Which is why your mom is telling us to all be there this Sunday.

Scripts by the following playwrights and/or screenwriters will be featured at this Sunday’s Cold Reads:

  • How Long? by Simone Stock and Shawn Tanaka
  • It’s a Blast by David Healey
  • Size 7 (with Insoles) by Genevieve Adam
  • Writer’s Challenge by Eric Peterson

We’ll be back on May 21st with the third edition of Thr33fest!
Only 3 cold reads left until the fall!

What? When? Where? and How?

Actors should arrive to sign up at 7:00 pm with the show to start at 8:00 pm. Our home is The Social Capital, located at 154 Danforth Avenue. It’s above the Black Swan Tavern just east of Broadview station on the Danforth.

How can you get involved?

Join our writing group for more encouragement, camaraderie, wisdom, and shared get-down-to-business writing time. We’d love to help you get new scripts ready to be shared at the Cold Reads… and beyond.

Show up to read a role, laugh/cry/applaud/listen as an audience member, join our writing group, and submit your writing at torontocoldreads@gmail.com–everyone is welcome!
