LESS THAN ONE WEEK AWAY! October 1st Line-up

Toronto Cold Reads welcomes you back to The Social Capital on Sunday October 1st for the Fall 2017 season

We’re starting things off with another iteration of THR33FEST!

Here’s how it works:
Each of these three writers started a script, then handed it off. The next person wrote a few more pages. Then handed it off. By the end, they had created three complete short scripts written in part by three different human beings!

October 1st scripts were written by:
Zoe Alexandra, Tim Cadney, and Scott Walker

Plus we’ll be tuning back into the latest episode of David Healey’s Flashman radio drama!

Musical guest Sabrina Soares will play at the beginning of the show and after intermission.

The Toronto Cold Reads Spring 2017 kick-off will be March 5, 2017.

Mark your calendars now. We’ll be back at The Social Capital (154 Danforth) on the first Sunday in March. 7 pm for casting, 8 pm for the show. PWYC–all contributions go back into the event and supporting new script development!

But what am I to do in February?

  • Go see a show! You never know when you’ll see a fellow TCR member in the audience, up on stage, or working behind the scenes.
  • WRITE–and send us your work. We’re still programming the upcoming season. Check out the Submissions page for guidelines on what to include.
  • Join our Writer’s Group. Weekly meet-ups to read full scripts, shut up and write, talk about the craft, and commiserate/celebrate with other writers happen all the time, even when the Toronto Cold Reads is dark. Check out the website to find out when the next one is!
